INGREDIENTS

   For chicken :

        1. Chicken  - 1 boneless breast thinly sliced
        2. Red chilli powder  - 1 tspn
        3. Turmeric powder  - 1/4 tspn
        4. Lemon juice  -  1 tbspn
        5. Garam masala  - 1/2 tspn
        6. Ginger garlic paste  -  1 tspn
        7. Salt to taste
        8. Oil for frying

    For topping :

        1. Carrot grated
        2. Capsicum sliced
        3. Mozeralla cheese
        4. Onion slices
        5. Some coriander leaves
        6. Pizza sauce or tomato sauce

HOMEMADE PIZZA BASE

      Why buy store bought pizza bases when you can make some fresh at home with simple ingredients. Make this simple, quick and easy best pizza base recipe at home and share your experience in the comment section  below.



INGREDIENTS

     1. All purpose flour  - 500 gms
     2. Sugar  - 1/2 tspn
     3. Salt
     4. Dry yeast  - 1 tspn
     5. Oil - 30 ml
     6. Warm water

PREPARATIONS

      * In a bowl add yeast, sugar, some warm water and stir well. Keep aside a minute.
      * Take another bowl, add all purpose flour and salt. Combine well.
      * Add yeast mixture and oil and mix well.
      * Add water littile by littile and knead a dough. Make a soft dough kneading for about 12 - 15 minutes.
      * Grease a bowl with oil and transfer the dough to it.
      * Cover with a damp muslin cloth and keep aside for 1 hour.
      * After the dough has risen, divide into 3 equal portion.

CHANA DAL CURRY

        Here is a delicious recipe of dal curry that I make with chana dal. It is best served with steamed rice or roti.



INGREDIENTS

1. Chana dal  - 2 cup
2. Tomato  - 3 medium
3. Garlic cloves  - 5 chopped
4. Ginger  - 1 inch chopped
5. Greenchilli  - 2
6. Onions  - 2
7. Turmeric powder  - 1/4 tspn
8. Coriander powder  - 1 tspn
9. Red chilli powder  - 1 tspn
10. Oil  - 2 tbspn
11. Coriander leaves
12. Salt to taste
13. Water

PREPARATIONS

   * Soak chana dal for about 30 minutes.
Add tomatoes, garlic, ginger, greenchilli and salt to blender.
    * Make a puree out of it. In a non stick pressure cooker, heat oil and add onion, saute till they turn golden brown colour.
    * Add the soaked chana dal and salt, saute for 4 minutes. Add turmeric powder and saute it for another 4 minutes.
     * Add the tomato puree and greenchilli. Add 1/4 cup water, coriander powder and red chilli powder.
      * Cover the pressure cooker and cook till 4 - 5 whistle.

      Love cookies! My ever favourite recipe suggested by my sister Safirashi. Let's make tasty and melting cookies. Kids will love it.



INGREDIENTS

       1. All purpose flour  -  2 cup
       2. Powdered Sugar  - 1 cup
       3. Sunflower oil  - 1 cup
       4. Cashew nuts - 1 handful ( Make cashew powder in a grinder)
       5. Salt a pinch

PREPARATIONS

       * Mix all the dry ingredients well.
       * Add sunflower oil and make a soft dough.
       * Make lemon sized balls out of it and place them in a greased baking tray or sheets leaving small space for the cookies to expand.
        * Bake it in the preheated oven for about 15 - 20 minutes at 180°C in convection mode / 18 - 20 minutes at 160°C in OTG.
         * Cool it completely and store it in an air tight container.
Best served with a cup of hot tea/coffee.

     I love pulissery ! One of the most delicious recipe in Kerala sadhya is pulissery. When made with pineapple is unique and flavour packed.  It's the unique blend of sweetness of the pineapple, sourness of yogurt and spiciness of chilly. INGREDIENTS

For Rava Balls

      1. Rava / Semolina - 1 cup
      2. Ginger  - 1 small inch
      3. Greenchilli  - 3 or less
      4. Ghee  - 1 tbspn
      5. Turmeric powder  - 1/4 tspn
      6. Garam masala powder  - 1/2 tspn
      7. Asafoetida  - 1/4 tspn
      8. Boiled water  - 2 cup
      9. Salt to taste

For Tempering

       Shakshuka is a dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes. Very easy to prepare, healthy, flavourful, definitely must try recipe. It is usually served for breakfast, though I think it's perfect for brunch on lazy weekends. This dish is best served right away after cooking alongside some crusty bread or pita. Give it a try!



INGREDIENTS

    1. Tomatoes  -  4 big
    2. Onion  - 1 medium chopped
    3. Capsicum  -  1/2 medium chopped (green or red)
    4. Garlic cloves  - 2 minced
    5. Red chilli powder  -  2 tspn
    6. Cumin powder  - 1 tspn
    7. Oregano - 1/2 tspn (You can also use thyme)
    8. Egg  - 3 or 4
    9. Oil - 1 tbspn + drizzling
  10. Pepper powder
  11. Some chopped parsley leaves or coriander leaves

      * Blend tomatoes in a blender. Do not add water.
